Engadget features the Luminode

Excellent write up on Engadget about the Luminode. We feel like Jon Fingas really gets our vision and he understands how the mesh networked Luminodes can simplify usage instead of introducing a “huge grid of buttons or displays”. He mentions the simple protocol that will allow us to interface with a large number of panels and hardware. A lively discussion is taking place there about what sets the Luminode apart from other dimmers. These features that set the Luminode apart from currently available dimmers will be explored in a couple of videos that we will add in the next few days.

I saw the Project on Kickstarter and the Luminode is exactly what i am missing from major companies in this market. As i am from Germany i will be very sad if you don’t meet your kickstarter goal. I did not pledge because i need a completely different formfactor for this stuff a there is no way i could ever install the Luminode with the proposed design. :(

    • Hi Jens,

Sorry I missed your post when you posted it. We did make our goal and are working hard to finish the Luminode for the US, but we are already thinking about international versions!

      Thanks!
